sussex walking holidays

Welcome to Scenic Sussex Trails.

Guided Walks over the South Downs and Weald of West Sussex.
Ancient earthworks, enchanted villages, tumbledown barns, flocks of fluffy-faced sheep, tiny centuries-old churches, dense unspoilt forests, still dark ponds, industrial relics, meandering rivers, hidden cottages - all these and more can be explored via the extensive network of public footpaths and bridleways of West Sussex. These extend to over 4000 kilometres (about 2500 miles) , offering endless scope for the interested explorer.

What can you expect?

Having lived in West Sussex for 22 years, I have covered many thousands of miles, both running and walking, over the byways of West Sussex, discovering much to delight the eye and stimulate a sense of wonder.
I have developed a great passion for the varied and beautiful landscape of Sussex, its nature and its history. I would like to share this with others, so that besides having a nice walk in beautiful countryside, you will gain some insight into how the landscape came to look the way it does.
